Will McCain Reject and Renounce Evangelical Preacher John Hagee?

Lest we forget it was McCain who called Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson 'Agents of Intolerance' in 2000....can you say Flip-Flop?

It was reported last week that McCainn accepted and embraced the support of rabid Bible thumping end-timer John Hagee. At first the story flew under the radar as the mainstream press yawned. After all, it was just yet another evangelical preacher endorsing yet another Republican.

Then progressive radio and the blogosphere began uncovering just what a tool this John Hagee guy is. He is one of those who thinks Hurricane Katrina was God's Wraith for New Orleans having gay pride parades. He is one of those who want to bomb Iran in order to bring about armageddon. He is working to bring the end of the world, chaos, and the death of billions of people because he thinks it will bring back Jesus.

Hagee also hates Catholics which has Bill Donohue all in a twitch and rightly so. John Hagee's wiki entry quotes some of his anti-Catholic stances.

If Mahmoud Ahmadinejad were a Christian, he'd be John Hagee.

One would think after the way Tim Russert made Obama jump through hoops with regard to Farrakhan's unsolicited endorsement of him that the press would do the same to McCain. Obama was made to 'Reject and Renounce' the Farrakhan endoresement because Hillary said rejecting it was not enough.

Seems to me McCain should be made to Reject and Renounce the support of John Hagee.

But I can understand why McCain would welcome the support of John Hagee since they share the common dream of bombing Iran.

March 16th, 2006 John Hagee: Iran Poses Grave Threat to Western Civilization - Interview with Human Events

How long will it take before Israel and Iran engage in warfare?

Hagee: Israel will engage Iran before the end of May!

What will an attack on Jerusalem mean for the United States?

Hagee: You are assuming an attack on Jerusalem will be successful! Jerusalem is the spiritual home for millions of Jews and Christians in America. The very dust in the street is sacred in this holy city. Israel fully anticipates retaliation from Iran. Former IDF Chief of Staff, Moshe Ya'alon, expressed confidence that Israel's anti-missile systems could protect the country, whether missiles are fired directly from Iran, by the Hizbullah launchers amassed along Israel's northern border or through Kassam rockets being amassed within Judea and Samaria. "Israel is able to strike at Iran in a number of ways, not just through air strikes," Ya'alon added.

Should the United States be an aggressor against Iran?

Hagee: It would be shameful for America, with all it's military might, to allow Israel to fight our fight! Is the United States vulnerable to a nuclear attack from Iran?

Hagee: America is very vulnerable to nuclear suitcase bombs, which have the capacity to kill a million or more people per explosion. Paul L. Williams, a former consultant to the FBI on terrorism, reports there are seven teams of terrorist now working in the United States. The seven areas that have been identified are New York, Miami. Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C. These terrorist groups are working out of mosques and Islamic centers, which are protected by the law as "houses of worship."
While Iran can reach Europe with a missile, it does not yet have a missile with sufficient range to reach America.

Why must the United States put its own security on the line to defend Israel?

Hagee: Iran is a threat to western civilization ... not just to Israel. Iran with nuclear weapons will be the world's worst nightmare. America and Europe will be blackmailed to bow to the Islamofacist agenda. The attack on 9/11 proved Islamics have the will to kill us, they are now searching for the power to kill us ... nuclear power.

Are the American people ready for another war in the Middle East?

Hagee: Absolutely not! Many Americans want to "cut and run" from Iraq. Our fighting terrorist on their soil prevents them from being on our soil!

I want one of those giant demon posters that Hagee preaches in front of. That would really spice up my basement decor.

Look Pastor Hagee, a man not as pasty-faced as you! Let's get him!

Hagee is a nutcase of course but I believe Bush will attack Iran sooner as he has too before his time is up. Then all hell will break loose.
Helping Israel is why Bush attacked iraq to get back into the middle east and there will be plenty of war in the middle east as the entire ME is engulfed then the rest of the world will get involved!
That is just a common sensed reqlists observations and wordsw!

"Flip-flop".
OF COURSE McCain will court Hagee! he needs the rabid right machine to get the vote out in November. he's not gonna just sit there and hope people will vote for him -- this is his only alternative.

Obama is free to 'reject and renounce' Farrakhan whose endorsement he never asked for anyway. he doesn't need him -- in fact, Farrakhan could HURT him and they both know it.

but, McCain can't do without Hagee or someone just like him.

McCain can't reject Hagee. He needs the fundies. We must publicize St. John radical ties.

McCain will be afraid of offending any of the religions right by denouncing it.

He needs all the support he can get.
