Rove Rigging Elections Since 2000
Heard about this on Thom Hartmann yesterday.
Rove has big plans for 2008.

Republican whistleblower Stephen Spoonamore has come forward and disclosed how electronic voting can be hacked. Karl Rove has been stealing elections since 2000 with the help of Michael Connell. Apparently Spoonamore was working for the McCain campaign until he became so disgusted with the tactics being used by Republicans to win elections that he came forward.
Michael Connell runs govtech.com, a company that handles all the websites for members of Congress. Pretty handy huh? Ah, to be able to read all the Democrat's emails and internal communications...who needs FISA when you have Connell?
In 2001, Michael L. Connell of GovTech Solutions, L.L.C., a notoriously partisan GOP operative and Bush family confidant, was selected to re-organize the Capitol Hill IT network. Under the guise of selecting a female-owned IT company (Connell’s wife Heather is listed as the owner), former Congressman and convicted felon Bob Ney reportedly arranged for Connell to be the man behind the firewall for the U.S. House of Representatives. Connell’s role and activities need to be investigated by putting Connell under oath and examining how arguably one of the country’s most zealously partisan IT specialists managed to land the contract and be allowed access to this electronic communication system. On Thom Hartmann Mark Crispin Miller said Connell helped Rove steal elections in order to "save babies".

I wrote about those friggen machines so many times it is sickening and they are still around. It was bragged about by the manufacturer in 2000 that he could give the election to whoever he wants.
Sadly the machines are only one way of a growing number of ways to steal this one. If stealing it looks in jeopardy it gets much worse as you know.
The fall is nothing to look forward to but to be anticipated with apprehension. This totally manufactured nightmare is coming to a head at the perfect time for Bush and the right!

The very first time I used one of those machines it crashed. I have demanded a paper ballot ever since and if there is any question demand a hand recount.
