Cheney, Gonzales Indicted
Time will tell if the moral arc of the Universe really does bend toward justice...
Vice president, former AG, state senator indicted

Cheney's indictment on a charge of engaging in an organized criminal activity criticizes the vice president's investment in the Vanguard Group, which holds interests in the private prison companies running the federal detention centers. It accuses Cheney of a conflict of interest and "at least misdemeanor assaults" on detainees because of his link to the prison companies.
Megan Mitchell, a spokeswoman for Cheney, declined to comment on Tuesday, saying that the vice president had not yet received a copy of the indictment.
The indictment accuses Gonzales of using his position while in office to stop an investigation in 2006 into abuses at one of the privately-run prisons.

I hope this is just the start of things to come...I also read somewhere that Planes would carry her case against Bush to the Supreme Court.

Don't get your hopes up on this. You might remember that those in the executive have their investments in a blind trust to prevent conflict of interest. Also there's no law against investing in a company that has broken the law. The real case against Cheney is when he was head of Haliburton and bribed the Nigrerian government. He had to know about the bribe as it was several million dollars.

All I know is, Cheney and Gonzales was charged and convicted of crimes, regardless to what extent it was.
This was a Attorney General who knowingly deceived and a Vice President who looked the other way at some point.
