Afghanistan - Smells Like The CIA

We have learned that Hamid Karzai's brother Ahmed Wali Karzai is on the CIA payroll. This only makes sense as Ahmed Wali is controlling the opium and heroin trade in Afghanistan. The CIA loves its drug money which it uses to fund covert operations.

We have also learned that there will be a run off election in Afghanistan. This would appear to be a positive. However there was an attack yesterday on Kabul in which the Taliban warned Afghans to "stay away from the polls" or there would be more attacks. Does this make any sense? Why would the Taliban not want people to vote?

If I were a Taliban leader I would want peace and stability. I would like to see Karzai voted out and a Taliban friendly leader voted in. With relative calm and stability the U.S. would leave Afghanistan and the Taliban could easily take over. It would make more sense for the Taliban to work for stability and peace at this point.

So who do these attacks and statements really benefit? Well the result is going to be that the U.S. will likely send more troops and stay longer in Afghanistan. That's good for the military industrial complex as well as those who still dream of a transcontinental Afghan pipeline. It's also very good for the drug trade. Is the CIA still funding the Taliban as well?

Whatever is going on in Afghanistan it's not good and we need to leave now. But there are those who do not want us to leave and they will do anything to keep us there. Be prepared for the "breaking news" alerts.

Hey, that was a good call. Now the question you have to ask yourself is, do you really think you change events that effect Afghanistan or for that matter, Iraq; when control/influence of USA domestic policies are what theses wars are really about.
Right now, the CIA,DIA is accountable to no one, a hold over effect from the the previous administration.
