I hate Republicans, I really do. There are plenty of Democrats I hate as well but I hate Republicans more. This video is an oldie but goodie titled I Hate Republicans.
One thing you will notice if you watch the video is that there are plenty of Nazi references with regard to the Bush Cheney regime. That’s because Bush and Cheney are Nazis. I would say were but they are still both alive. George W Bush’s grandfather was a banker for the Nazis. Bush and Cheney were all about using the government to enrich their corporate buddies. Iraq was nothing but a giveaway for Blackwater USA, Halliburton, KBR, Bechtel, USIS, etc. It was and continues to be corporate welfare. The definition of fascism is the merger of corporate and state interests. As such, activists branded the Bush Cheney regime as corporatist and fascist in nature.
Flash forward to today and the Tea Baggers stole a play right out of the Left’s play book. They saw how well equating Bush Cheney with Nazi Germany worked politically. Democrats took back the House in 2006 and won the Presidency as well as the Senate in 2008. Thus Tea Baggers have decided to try using the same tactics but instead try to aim them at Obama and the Democrats. In the process they have conflated the terms communist, socialist, and fascist. Tea Baggers maintain that Obama is all three at the same time even though communism and fascism are diametrically opposed.
Reality is a much more compelling case can be made that Bush and Cheney are fascists as opposed to trying to make the case that Obama is a fascist (or communist or socialist). I mean really, you can’t be a fascist and socialist at the same time. It’s as if the Tea Baggers don’t get that fascism is corporate control as opposed to government control. Can we all agree that socialism is NOT corporate control? If so then we should all be able to agree that Obama is not a fascist. If Obama is not a fascist then any comparisons of Obama to Nazi Germany are invalid.
I am all for the right wingers protesting the Obama Administration. It’s their right to protest what they oppose politically. But I think they need to be held accountable for their propaganda. Obama is not a fascist thus any reference to the Obama Administration and Nazi Germany is simply absurd. At the same time Tea Baggers need to recognize that Bush, Cheney, and Republicans are fascists thus if they want to compare Republicans, Bush, Cheney, and right wing pundits to Nazis they are free to do so. After all Fascism is the merger of State and Corporate interest which is something Tea Baggers lust after.
